Alberto Rodríguez is a senior program manager working with the Public Interest Technology program at New America. He has spent the last seven years working at the intersection of digital technology and politics from different perspectives. He has conducted research on digital government transformation and digital service delivery in the United States and Latin America, and has advised national and local governments on digital innovation. Before joining New America, he led a working group at the Beeck Center for Social Impact & Innovation, working with more than 20 senior digital government leaders to bring human-centered design techniques to public policy. Previously, he served as an international advisor for the National Digital Strategy in the Office of the Presidency of the Republic in Mexico, where he advised on international collaboration efforts between the federal government and various organizations such as the OECD, the IDB, the OAS and others. national governments. He also served as an international advisor to the Digital Government Unit of the Ministry of Public Administration of Mexico.
Rodríguez has a master's degree from Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy and a bachelor's degree in international relations from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico.
