Professor Ernst, Winner of the Patrick Healy Award 2018
LALP executive director Professor Ricardo Ernst was awarded the Patrick Healy Award 2018 by president DeGioia during this year's John Carroll Weekend's Award Banquet in Seattle on April 14, 2018.
The Patrick Healy Award honors a friend of the university whose record of service to the Georgetown community and professional achievements exemplify Georgetown University’s ideals and traditions.
Ernst’s achievements in the business world are extensive, as he utilizes his experiences and accomplishments to teach his students in the classroom. A member of Georgetown McDonough faculty since 1987, Ernst created the Global Business Fellows program and the Global Business Experience.
To help expand Georgetown’s mission in Latin America, he serves as managing director of the university’s Latin American Board and Executive Director of the Latin America Leadership Program, from which he directs the Global Competitiveness Leadership and the Innovation in Leadership and Government programs, as well as custom programs.
