GCL 2017 Felipe Paullier, New Director of Youth Programs in Uruguay

On March 1, 2020, GCL 2017 Felipe Paullier was inaugurated as the new Director of the National Institute of Youth in Uruguay. 

Felipe, a doctor by profession, has previously served in various political management positions (as a local parliamentarian and municipal council member). As the new Director for Youth Programs in Uruguay, Felipe is responsible for the government office that designs, coordinates, and executes public policies aimed at young people in Uruguay.

As a Global Competitiveness Leadership Program (GCL) alumnus, Felipe has led the PLIG project (Global Impact Leaders Program), a leadership training initiative inspired by his GCL experience. This program aimed at young people from the political, social, private, and social spheres of Uruguay was organized together with the University of Montevideo in 2018 and 2019.
