Educational Expansion Through International Partnerships
Through the synergy between Momento Cero and Entrepreneur Foundation, Kenneth Gent (GCL 2014, Chile) and Isidora Rojas (GCL 2020, Chile) have built a strong collaboration that combines complementary capabilities, is supported by empirical evidence, and is focused on expansion into new markets.

Vision, determination, dedication, and a passion for education define the impact and multiplier effect that Kenneth Gent (GCL 2014, Chile) and Isidora Rojas (GCL 2020, Chile) have achieved in Chile. Through partnerships with leading organizations in the education sector, as well as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives within public and private institutions, they are creating opportunities to replicate their successful model across Latin America and the Caribbean.
As co-founder and CEO of Momento Cero, a company established in 2005, Kenneth’s vision is to bring its educational entertainment model to new territories, helping individuals—especially from an early age—develop the skills needed for the 21st century, including critical thinking and analytical abilities. This is achieved through innovative, methodologically sound solutions, products, and services that are replicable, transferable, and scalable. Programs currently operating in Chile include the Bilingual FinanCity Game, the Playful Mindset and Learning Through Play courses, and the company’s proprietary Comprehensive Educational Resources System (SIRE).
A key component of this vision is the close collaboration with Entrepreneur Foundation, established in 2012 and led by Executive Director Isidora Rojas. The foundation serves as a strategic pillar for implementing social-impact initiatives through Learning Through Play, a methodology in which Momento Cero specializes.
Among the collaborative experiences that demonstrate how partnerships between the public, private, and academic sectors can drive innovation and create meaningful impact across communities—while strengthening teaching, learning, and management capacities—are:
• AntofaEDUCA, an initiative launched in 2023 to transform education in the Antofagasta Region with support from the regional government, SQM, universities, and national and international organizations.
• Creating the Future Project: Learn Personal Finance, a project funded by Scotiabank Chile that promotes financial education in schools through game-based learning experiences, teacher training, and competitions. The initiative has expanded nationwide through tournaments and corporate volunteer participation and has received international recognition for its social impact.
• Collaboration with Liceo San Nicolás, an initiative that promotes interregional cooperation to improve educational quality through the transfer of best practices, teacher development, and innovative methodologies inspired by both national and international experiences, including Finland’s education model.
Their journey within the educational system has been—and continues to be—challenging. However, the achievements, scaling efforts, and positive multiplier effect they have generated in the lives of thousands of people continue to motivate them to move forward.
For both leaders, participating in the Global Competitiveness Leadership (GCL) Program was transformative. The experience strengthened their ability to collaborate around a shared vision, recognize innovation as a defining differentiator, work with a strong sense of purpose, adopt a global mindset, build networks centered on contribution and shared models, and, above all, collaborate through mutual trust.
Financial Learning Backed by Scientific Evidence
In March 2026, preliminary results from the report “Learning Through Play: Experimental Evidence on Financial Education” were published by Chilean researcher Leopoldo Lazcano, a doctoral candidate at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University.
Conducted over a three-month period in partnership with Entrepreneur Foundation, the study rigorously evaluated the impact of a board game as a financial education tool for students. The research involved 29 teachers from 16 schools across the Maule, Biobío, and Ñuble regions, who implemented a randomized experimental evaluation with elementary and secondary school students.
Key exploratory findings include:
• Significant improvements in financial knowledge and attitudes
• Stronger effects among elementary school students
• Repetition matters: students who participated three or more times showed substantial gains
“The preliminary results are highly encouraging, especially when considering longer-term engagement with students aged 10 to 18. The impact on current and future generations is monumental: young people entering the financial system more empowered, with a positive attitude toward financial topics, greater knowledge, and stronger skills.” — Kenneth Gent (GCL 2014, Chile)
The report provides new evidence of the potential of Game-Based Learning (GBL) methodologies to strengthen financial capabilities from an early age. It represents the first step toward a more comprehensive academic publication with deeper analytical insights and technical details.
Educational Expansion: An Opportunity for Collaboration and Regional Impact
Momento Cero and Entrepreneur Foundation have reached a level of organizational maturity that positions them for international expansion. One example is the establishment of SISU Educational Foundation in the United States in 2024, created to train teachers who can become multipliers of change within their communities.
“We are seeking partners with expertise in educational systems, as well as organizations committed to sustainable social impact and capable of funding the implementation of an internationally validated educational methodology. Our goal is to embark on a shared journey of transformation.” — Isidora Rojas (GCL 2020, Chile)
Both Kenneth and Isidora invite members of the GCL community with expertise in education to explore new opportunities for collaboration. They also encourage alumni to reconnect—or meet for the first time—in person during the celebration of 20 years of impact from the LALP programs at Georgetown University in November 2026.
Congratulations to Kenneth and Isidora for the educational impact they have achieved in Chile and for the new opportunities for collaboration that will emerge across the region!
