Latin America Leadership Program

The Global Business Executive Leadership (GBEL) Alumni Committee invited GBEL alumni to the second session of the talk series “From One to Many,” an initiative created to strengthen connections and promote continuous learning within the GBEL alumni community.

This series provides a space for the meaningful exchange of knowledge and experience between GBEL alumni and influential business leaders from across Latin America and the Caribbean.

A Conversation with Priscila Chaves

In this session, Priscila will share her experience and perspective to implement a local, regional or global AI strategy within your organization, discover use cases, frameworks, and methodologies, and learn about the trends and platforms driving business transformation.

Priscila Chaves is an Executive Partner and AI Strategist at Gartner, with more than 20 years of experience in artificial intelligence implementation, governance, ethics, and public policy. She advises Chief AI Officers (CAIOs), boards of directors, and governments on designing strategies that enable organizations to scale AI responsibly, manage risks, and transform technological innovation into business value.

Throughout her career, she has led digital transformation and artificial intelligence initiatives at IBM and Cargill, and has collaborated with organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP), contributing to the development of responsible AI strategies for public and private sector organizations globally.

Her academic background integrates business, technology, AI governance, and ethics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Costa Rica and an MBA in Technology Management from NYU Stern School of Business, as well as a Master of Studies (MSt) in Artificial Intelligence Ethics and Society from the University of Cambridge.
