Mike Malloy is a seasoned professional with 13+ years of experience as a Deloitte management consultant, Waveborn sunglasses CEO, Halcyon Incubator program director, Georgetown adjunct professor, trusted advisor, mentor, sales consultant, and career coach. Mike is a lifelong learner with a growth mindset who possesses a unique blend of technical expertise, interpersonal communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
Mike is committed to changing the world by supporting the next generation of leaders. He currently serves as a trusted advisor and sales consultant to help growth-stage companies increase their profits and reach key milestones for investors. Mike also serves as an adjunct professor and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Georgetown University. Mike seeks to leverage his experience, network, and diverse skill set to add value in entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Previously, Mike was the Halcyon Incubator Program Director, where he planned, prepared, and executed the 5-month program for 10 cohorts of social entrepreneurs. Mike was also the CEO of Waveborn Sunglasses, a for-profit social enterprise that aims to improve how people see the world. For five years, Waveborn sold luxury Italian sunglasses with polarized lenses and donated a portion of the profits to support the global eye care community before going bankrupt. Mike has experienced many ups and downs during his entrepreneurial journey since he launched his career at Deloitte Consulting.
