Guadalupe Ramirez is the Public Relations and Events Manager for Georgetown University’s Latin America Leadership Program (LALP). She plans and executes diverse activities related to the outreach of the LALP’s programs and events, including its annual flagship and custom programs, its series of public dialogues and alumni initiatives, and publications. Previously, she served as Executive Communications Manager at Microsoft and PR Senior Consultant at the global firm Burson-Marsteller. In both positions, she designed and implemented the communication strategies for the Latin American region. Born and raised in Mexico City, Guadalupe started her professional career as a journalist specializing in business and technology. Additionally, she has volunteering at several organizations including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, ExATec Alumni Association, Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in Florida and Massachusetts. Guadalupe holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City.
