Latin America Leadership Program

Guadalupe Ramirez is the public relations and events manager for Georgetown University’s Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) at the McDonough School of Business (MSB). In this role, Guadalupe plans and implements outreach and communications activities for LALP’s initiatives, including those for its annual flagship and custom programs. She also manages LALP’s events and public dialogues, as well as relationships with the LALP alumni network and the LALP Advisory Committee, and regularly writes news stories for LALP and MSB. Previously, she served as an executive communications manager at Microsoft and a senior PR consultant at the global firm Burson-Marsteller. In both positions, she designed and implemented the communication strategies for the Latin American region. Born and raised in Mexico City, Guadalupe started her professional career as a journalist specializing in business and technology. Additionally, she has volunteered at several organizations, including Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, ExATec Alumni Association, Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) in Florida and Massachusetts. Guadalupe holds a B.A. in Communication Sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico City. In 2026, she received Georgetown University's Distinguished Staff Award, having been nominated and selected by Graduate Students for her outstanding contributions, dedication, and meaningful impact within the Georgetown graduate community.
