
Cristina Ruiz

Driven by facilitating spaces that advance intercultural cooperation and learning to respond to 21st-century challenges and opportunities, Cristina Ruiz (EML'21) serves as Senior Associate Director for Georgetown University's Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) within the McDonough School of Business. Since 2017, Cristina has led the department's business operations, financial management, and communications strategy, as well as the strategic planning of LALP academic programs, alumni relations, publications, and new initiatives that strenghten Georgetown University's mission across the Ibero-America region. Preceding her active role in executive education, Cristina successfully spearheaded SPAIN arts&culture and educational projects across the United States for over a decade to promote intercultural understanding and exchange between Spain and the U.S. and between Europe and the Americas.
Cristina is a graduate of the Executive Master’s in Leadership Program (EML) of Georgetown University and holds an MBA degree from IE Business School and a B.A. and M.A. in Business and Economics from Pontificia de Comillas University (ICADE) in Spain.
