Charlotte E. L. Kennedy is the Program Manager for Georgetown University's Latin America Leadership Program (LALP). In this role, Charlotte plans and implements the activities of the Global Competitiveness Leadership (GCL), the Innovation and Leadership in Government (ILG), and the Global Business Executive Leadership (GBEL) programs. These annual flagship programs developed by LALP aim to educate, connect, and inspire regional leaders to create impact networks with a positive multiplier effect across Latin America and the Caribbean, directly contributing to the University’s mission of teaching and service for the common good and strengthening the university's engagement with the region. Prior to this role, Charlotte has worked at Counterpart International, Organization of American States, European Parliament, Inter-American Dialogue, and Fernand Braudel Institute of World Economics. Her international work experience ranges from program management to diplomacy across nonprofits, think tanks, government, and multilateral institutions. Charlotte holds a B.A. in Politics & International Affairs, Spanish, and Latin American Studies at Furman University in South Carolina, as well as a M.S. in Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she concentrated in Global Politics & Security and Diplomatic Studies. She speaks fluent Portuguese, Spanish, and conversational French.
