GCL 2021, Finalist of the 2021 JCI TOYP
Every year the Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global movement that started in 1915 in the US, awards the outstanding young people award to selected youths around the world which objective is to recognize worldwide citizens that have a positive impact in their communities. In the category “Political affairs”, the Argentinian Daniel Tricarico, GCL 2021, has been selected as one of the 20 finalists for the 2021 JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World Program (JCI TOYP).
The co-founder of the Latin-American Association of Entrepreneurs (ASELA) and former executive director of the Argentinian Association of Entrepreneurs (ASEA) has been a fundamental player regarding the generation of public policies aimed to foster and promote entrepreneurship in Argentina and Latin America.
Currently, he is developing IMPACTLATAM, an acceleration platform for impact-driven startups in Latin America, with the objective of helping social and environmental initiatives grow and scale in the region.
The mentioned project was developed through the participation of the Global Competitiveness Leadership Program, where it was also selected as one of the TOP 5 projects of its cohorts, besides being selected by his fellow classmates to give the cohort graduation speech.
