Daniela Galindo Bermúdez, GCL 2016, launches @ArteIncluyenteColombia
Hablando con Julis, in alliance with DECA Teatro and Alejo Alvarez Music, launches Inclusive Art Colombia, which aims to create and disseminate theatrical, audiovisual, and/or musical pieces in a professional way for the world, with artists with and without disabilities.
Although the cultural sector has been one of the most affected during the last year, Inclusive Art Colombia in this period has strengthened the cultural training and creation processes combining virtual with face-to-face programs, directly benefiting 92 artists and reaching more than 38,000 viewers in the world in projects such as Romeo y Julieta (2020 musical medium-length film), Utopia (2020 short film), 4 Formas (2020 training), 5 Formas (2021 training), Theater Pictures (2020-2021 training).
Inclusive Art Colombia becomes a space that seeks to entertain the public, showing that true inclusion does exist. In all their projects, people with and without disabilities work as a team.
We connect people of any disability condition since we do not believe in barriers, but in the multiple talents that we all possess.
Their most recent production is Canterville Musical Half-length Film (April 2021) that has 24 artists on stage, screened in person and virtually, to more than 2000 viewers from countries such as Colombia, Peru, the United States, Mexico, Australia, among others.
