Barna International Week 2019
BARNA International Week designed by the Georgetown University Latin America Leadership Program for BARNA Management School seeks to train public servants with a theoretical framework and tools to generate and implement innovative public policies.
The third edition of BARNA International Week took place from October 21 to 24, 2019 at Georgetown University and welcomed 18 public managers from the Dominican Republic. With the program, Georgetown University and BARNA Management School seek to provide the development of leadership at the personal level of the participants so that they can promote new ideas and policies in their respective governmental entities. The curriculum combines sessions of Leadership based on Strengths, Leadership in the Public Sector, and sessions on Challenges and Opportunities in Latin America, Globalization, Competitiveness and Governance, and Latin America in a Global Agenda. In addition, participants visited the United States Congress and the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C.
