It was an honor to host Ricardo Martin Calabro, Officer, Financial Reporting & Corporate Accounting, Finance and Administration Department at IDB Invest with a group of 10 participants from various countries, who visited our campus to attend the panel Values-Based Leadership in Finance: A Conversation with Marty Flanagan, former CEO and Chairman Emeritus of Invesco, and Colin Meadows, co-founder and managing partner of 015 Capital Partners; moderated by Andy Blocker, Global Director of Public Policy and Strategic Alliances at Invesco.
The panel, hosted by The Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy and the Stanton Distinguished Leaders Series at McDonough School of Business, shared valuable and inspiring insights into the role of values in their career journeys and the evolution of Invesco.
During their visit, the IDB Invest group had a tour around the campus guided by Cristina Ruiz, senior deputy director for Georgetown University's Latin America Leadership Program (LALP), followed by a presentation about the programs and their scope in the region.
IDB Invest finances private sector projects to advance clean energy, modernize agriculture, strengthen transportation systems, and expand access to financing in Latin America and the Caribbean.
