In 2020, the Alumni networks of the GCL and ILG programs hosted their first joint annual reunion on November 18-20, under the slogan “Building the GCL & ILG community to impact the Iberoamerican Region”.

The Latin America Leadership Program (LALP) of Georgetown University organizes two leadership programs -Global Competitiveness Leadership (GCL) and Innovation and Leadership in Government (ILG)- that aim to connect and empower a new generation of socially responsible, innovative, and ethical leaders from the Iberoamerican region, active in the public and private sector as well as in the civil society.

As a result of the national and regional restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the alumni networks of these two programs cooperated to organize the first LALP Alumni joint annual reunion, a meeting that aimed to enhance the exchange among its members and, strengthens their impact in the region.

Events included public webinars, networking events, expert talks, and alumni meetings.
