Michael Guarino is the Program Manager for the Latin America Leadership Program (LALP).  In this role, Michael plans and implements the activities of the Global Competitiveness Leadership (GCL) and Innovation and Leadership in Government (ILG) Programs, in addition to managing LALP events and supporting GCL and ILG alumni initiatives. Previously, Michael served as a course facilitator and curriculum developer for the U.S. State Department’s Youth Ambassadors Program through the Georgetown Center for Intercultural Education and Development. He graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Spanish, with a particular emphasis on sociolinguistics, cross-cultural communication, and multilingual and international education.
